Dispute over 'looking the wrong way': Man beaten by 6 people and hospitalized

In Aksaray, a group beat a citizen under the pretext of "looking the wrong way." The suspects, who were detained after the incident, were released by the prosecutor's office.

In an incident that occurred at night in the Taşpazar neighborhood of Aksaray, Mustafa D. (30), who was walking on Atatürk Boulevard, was subjected to verbal harassment by a group of six people.

According to the allegations, Mustafa D., who is a tradesman, was confronted with profanity and insults by the group while returning home after closing his shop.

Despite Mustafa D.'s warnings, the group attacked and beat him. Citizens in the vicinity immediately notified the 112 Emergency Call Center upon hearing the sounds of the fight.

Police and medical teams, who reached the scene quickly, transported the injured Mustafa D. to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital. It was reported that the health condition of Mustafa D., who was taken under treatment, is good.

The police identified and detained the fleeing suspects in a short time. However, the suspects, who were referred to judicial authorities after their statements at the police station, were released by the prosecutor's office.
