Driver who entered wrong lane to evade inspection in Edirne fined 230 thousand liras

In Edirne, a driver who noticed a police inspection point attempted to flee by entering the wrong lane. A short pursuit took place between the driver, who endangered traffic safety, and the teams.

Following the escape, the driver was caught by police teams in the Umurbey neighborhood. During the check, it was determined that the driver's license had previously been confiscated for driving under the influence.

A total administrative fine of 230 thousand liras was imposed on the driver, who was stated to have been driving without a license and attempting to evade inspection. The vehicle used by the driver was taken to a parking lot with the help of a tow truck.
