In Bursa, a driver caught in a police alcohol checkpoint was found to be both unlicensed and intoxicated. The driver, who tried to explain his situation to the police, could not avoid a fine and said, "I was going to rescue my friend who was causing a scene at an alcohol-serving venue." A driver who entered the alcohol checkpoint stated that he did not have a driver's license after the teams requested it.

Uğur A., who blew into the breathalyzer, was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.12 promille. The driver, who was both unlicensed and intoxicated, complained to the teams, saying, 'For heaven's sake, find a solution for us, brother.' Receiving the response from the teams, 'You are both intoxicated and you don't have a license,' the driver could not avoid the fine even though he said, 'My friend is very wasted, I had to go pick him up from the nightclub.'
A total fine of 32 thousand 393 liras was issued to the driver who was operating the vehicle without a license and while intoxicated.
