AFAD announced that a 4.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Tercan district of Erzincan at 21:33. It was recorded that the depth of the 4.2-magnitude earthquake was 6.98 kilometers.
In a statement regarding the earthquake, the Erzincan Governor's Office said, "On 20.03.2025, at approximately 21:33, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake occurred with its epicenter in the Tercan district of Erzincan.
Following the earthquake, our relevant units have begun field surveys, and so far, there have been no reports of any negative situations regarding loss of life or property. Furthermore, no negative reports have been submitted to our relevant institutions by our citizens to date."
