The incident occurred in the Karadeniz neighborhood of the İlkadım district in Samsun.
According to the information obtained, a 70-year-old woman identified as A.B., who is reported to have Alzheimer's disease, climbed onto the balcony railings of her 4th-floor apartment and attempted suicide.
Upon notification, ambulances, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
Police officers, who entered the home with the woman's relatives, managed to persuade the elderly woman in a short time and brought her down from where she was standing.
