Technical inspections conducted by AFAD teams determined that certain structures are under direct threat. With the decision taken, homes in these areas must be vacated within 30 days at the latest.
EVACUATION PROCESS TO BE MANAGED UNDER THE COORDINATION OF MUDURNU MUNICIPALITY
As part of the evacuation process, which will be carried out under the coordination of the Mudurnu Municipality, written notices have been delivered to citizens for the evacuation of the designated structures. It was announced that legal action will be initiated against households that do not complete the evacuation process by the end of the period.
INFORMATION MEETING HELD
Following the decision, an information meeting was held at the Mudurnu Municipal Wedding Hall. Neighborhood headmen, homeowners, and official authorities attended the meeting. During the meeting, details regarding the progression of the process were shared, and the support to be provided by the state during the relocation was explained.

AFAD and Mudurnu Municipality officials stated that the primary objective in making the evacuation decision is the safety of the citizens. Officials expressed that the demolition of the risky structures will be carried out carefully and that all measures will be taken to ensure that the rights holders are not victimized.
DEMOLITION PROCESS TO BEGIN
Following the completion of the evacuation process, the identified risky structures will be demolished in a controlled manner. The statement from the municipality indicated that new settlement and support processes are being planned and that the relevant institutions are acting in coordination regarding this matter.
