A major fire broke out in the evening hours at a factory named Bahadır Kimya in the Kırıkkale Organized Industrial Zone. Upon the flames growing rapidly, numerous teams were dispatched to the region.
INTERVENTION EXPANDED
Following the start of the fire, Kırıkkale and Yahşihan fire department teams reached the scene and began extinguishing efforts. As the flames intensified, the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality also sent three fire trucks to the region to support the intervention.
EVACUATION DUE TO EXPLOSION RISK
While the impact of the fire continued, gendarmerie teams evacuated surrounding businesses for safety reasons due to the risk of explosion caused by the presence of chemical substances. While extensive security measures have been taken in the area, the teams' efforts to bring the fire under control are ongoing.
