Father and son lose their lives after being electrocuted while washing a truck
A father and his son have lost their lives after being electrocuted at a car wash located within the Truckers and Towing Cooperative in the Kaytazdere town of Yalova's Altınova district.

According to the information obtained, car wash operator Samim Okur (54) and his son Olcay Okur (26) were electrocuted while washing a truck.
Citizens in the vicinity who witnessed the incident removed the father and son from the area and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Samim Okur and Olcay Okur, who received initial intervention at the scene, were taken by ambulance to Altınova State Hospital and Karamürsel State Hospital.
Despite all interventions at the hospitals, the father and son could not be saved and lost their lives. The tragic news caused great sadness among the family's relatives and the local community.
While gendarmerie teams have initiated an investigation at the scene, it was learned that the exact cause of the electrical current will be determined following a technical examination.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
