Femicide in Samsun: He shot her in the head in the bathroom
Another woman has been taken from life in the Atakum district of Samsun. Ertuğrul Temiz shot his wife, Gülcan Güneş, in the head with a handgun in the bathroom of their home and fled the scene. He later turned himself in to the police in the same neighborhood.

According to the information obtained, Ertuğrul Temiz, who was learned to have been married for 4 years and had 1 child from this marriage, shot his wife, Gülcan Güneş, in the head with a handgun in the bathroom of their home and fled the scene.
"I SHOT MY WIFE, I TOOK MY CHILD AND RAN AWAY"
Ertuğrul Temiz sent a message to his brother from his mobile phone saying, "I shot my wife, I took my child and ran away." The incident was reported to the police. When the police went to the house and opened the door with their own means to enter, they found Gülcan Güneş dead in the bathroom, having been shot in the head with a handgun.
Ertuğrul Temiz turned himself in to the police in the same neighborhood. Gülcan Güneş's lifeless body was sent to the Samsun Group Presidency of the Council of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
