Feud over marriage arrangements ends in bloodshed
In the Kozan district of Adana, a father and his son lost their lives after being attacked with a shotgun by an individual with whom they had been feuding for 2 years over marriage arrangements.

The incident occurred around 18:00 in the Aydın neighborhood of the Kozan district.
According to allegations, Ali Ersoy (55) and his son Ömer Ersoy (29) were attacked with a shotgun by E.K. while they were traveling in a vehicle loaded with hay bales. Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
While it was determined that Ali Ersoy lost his life at the scene, his son Ömer Ersoy, who was seriously injured, was taken to Kozan State Hospital by ambulance teams. Ersoy also lost his life despite all interventions.
Following the incident, gendarmerie teams took extensive security measures in the area, and E.K., who is alleged to have carried out the attack, was taken into custody along with the weapon.
On the other hand, it was learned that the feud between the parties began 2 years ago due to a dispute over marriage arrangements.
