A fire broke out at a male student dormitory in Bursa.

According to the information obtained, a fire broke out on the 5th floor of a male student dormitory located within the Uludağ University campus, in a room reported to be occupied by a single student, due to a laptop that was charging in an electrical outlet.
Upon notification, police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene.
The teams that arrived at the scene in a short time evacuated the small number of students in the dormitory. The fire was extinguished by the timely intervention of 7 fire crews dispatched to the scene before it could spread to other rooms.
It was learned that there were no injuries in the incident, and cooling efforts in the building are ongoing.
