Fire at Yenibosna Metro Station
A fire that broke out in electrical cables located next to the Yenibosna Metro Station in Bakırköy was extinguished by fire crews.

The firebroke out around 10:00 PM in Ataköy neighborhood, at the Yenibosna Metro Stationin the electrical cables located adjacent toit. While explosions occurred from time to time during the fire, it caused panicin the surrounding area.
Upon notification by citizens who noticed the situation, fire and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
While police teams took security measures in the surrounding area,fire crews intervened in the fireand brought itunder controlin a shortamount of time. The fire was extinguished by the teams. The fire wascompletely extinguishedfollowing the efforts, and it wasreported thatthere were no injuries in the incident.
