Food poisoning prompts action from Muğla Governor's Office: One child has died

After one of three children hospitalized on suspicion of food poisoning following a chicken meal at their home in the Seydikemer district of Muğla lost their life, the Muğla Governor's Office has taken action and launched an investigation into the grocery store.

According to the information obtained, Neslinur Topal (18), F.T. (10), and R.T. (12) fell ill after eating a meal at their home in the Ortaköy neighborhood of Seydikemer district and were taken to Fethiye State Hospital.

18-year-old Neslinur Topal, whose condition was critical, was transferred to Muğla Training and Research Hospital following initial intervention there.

Despite all efforts, the young woman could not be saved and lost her life. It was learned that F.T. and R.T. remain in critical condition.

GOVERNOR AKBIYIK GAVE THE ORDER

Following the incident, the Muğla Governor's Office took action, and it was learned that Governor Dr. İdris Akbıyık is personally following the matter. Following Governor Akbıyık's instructions, it was reported that teams from the Muğla Provincial Health Directorate, the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Muğla Provincial Gendarmerie Command have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the incident. Additionally, it was learned that an inspection has been initiated by municipal and provincial agricultural teams at the grocery store where the family purchased the chicken.
