Forest fire in Alanya
A forest fire that broke out today in the Aliefendi neighborhood of Alanya, Antalya, is spreading rapidly due to the wind. The wind, which occasionally changes direction and increases in intensity, is complicating firefighting efforts. It has been reported that the fire continues to pose a threat to nearby homes and agricultural lands.

Efforts are underway to extinguish a forest fire that began around 23:00 in the Boyalık area of Aliefendi neighborhood, located between Alanya and Gazipaşa.
The fire has affected not only Aliefendi neighborhood but also İspatlı neighborhood. The battle against the flames is continuing uninterrupted with the cooperation of the Forestry Directorate, AFAD, the fire department, municipal teams, and the gendarmerie.
Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk, who has been following the firefighting efforts on-site in Aliefendi neighborhood since the first moments of the fire and coordinating with the teams in the field, stated the following regarding the situation: "We have immediately mobilized all relevant institutions and teams to intervene in the fire that started in our Aliefendi neighborhood and has also affected our İspatlı neighborhood.
Unfortunately, the fire is spreading due to the effect of the strong wind in the region. Thankfully, there has been no loss of life so far. Our teams are continuing their work with great dedication to cut off the path of the flames. We are continuing to work with all our strength and all our institutions to bring the fire under control as soon as possible and eliminate the danger."
While the intervention by the teams continues, intense efforts are being made to prevent the fire from reaching residential areas.
