Forest fire in Çanakkale
Regional Directorate of Forestry teams are responding by land to a forest fire that broke out in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale.

A fire broke out in a wooded area near the Bayramiç Dam in the Bayramiç district at approximately 23:30.
The flames spread over a wide area due to the effect of the wind.
Upon notification, teams from the Çanakkale Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region.
Intensive efforts to combat the fire from the ground are ongoing.
