Forest fire in İzmir! Aerial and ground intervention underway
A forest fire that broke out in the Mordoğan neighborhood of İzmir's Karaburun district is being fought from the air and on the ground. Teams are working intensely to bring the fire under control.

A forest fire in İzmir is being fought. The fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in a wooded area in the Mordoğan neighborhood.
2 AIRCRAFT ARE INTERVENING
Upon notification, 2 aircraft, 6 helicopters, 14 fire trucks, 4 water supply vehicles, and 3 bulldozers belonging to the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry were dispatched to the region.
Efforts by the teams to bring the fire under control are ongoing.
