The first response to the forest fire was made at 14:05, and intervention against the flames began with 3 aircraft, 4 helicopters, 17 water tenders, 3 water supply vehicles, 2 bulldozers, and 1 ground crew belonging to the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry.
Efforts to bring the fire under control are ongoing.
