Gendarmerie first lieutenant arrested on suspicion of murdering his wife
Gendarmerie First Lieutenant Aydın Samet Ekşi, who was serving in Rize, has been arrested by the court on suspicion of murdering his wife.

The incident occurred yesterday evening in the Kalkandere district of Rize. According to the information obtained, Gendarmerie First Lieutenant Aydın Samet Ekşi, who lived in the District Gendarmerie Command housing, had been taken into custody on allegations of shooting his wife, Aylin Ekşi.
The suspect, who was taken into custody following the incident, was referred to the courthouse after his procedures at the gendarmerie.
Ekşi was arrested by the court he was brought before on suspicion of murdering his wife and was sent to prison.
Aylin Ekşi's funeral will be laid to rest tomorrow in Erenler village, located in the center of Artvin, following the funeral prayer to be held after the noon prayer.
