Gendarmerie personnel and his girlfriend found dead on the beach
A gendarmerie officer serving in Hatay and his girlfriend have been found dead on the beach.

The incident occurred in the coastal area located in the Yeşilköy neighborhood of the Dörtyol district.
According to allegations, Ersin Tozan, who served at the Payas District Gendarmerie Command, and his girlfriend, Betül Avan, were found dead by the seaside.
After citizens on the beach noticed the situation and reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center, gendarmerie and ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene.
Ambulance teams arriving at the scene recovered the lifeless bodies of the gendarmerie officer Tozan and his girlfriend Avan, and transported them to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. The gendarmerie teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
