A dispute between a husband and wife on the 6th floor of the Genç İpekçi Apartment building on Aziz Mahmutoğulları Street in the central Yenişehir district led to family members being called to the scene. Relatives of the bride opened fire with guns on the groom, Mehmet Ali Baran (29), and his cousin, Vedat Baran (39), who had been married for 4 months.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined during their checks that the groom and his cousin had died, and that A.B. was also injured.
