Gunfire at a wedding in Trabzon: 1 dead, 2 injured
In the Çaykara district of Trabzon, one person lost their life and two others were injured after being struck by stray bullets fired into the air during a wedding. A Special Operations police officer and his father have been detained in connection with the incident.

According to the information received, two individuals who fired shots into the air during a bride-fetching ceremony at a wedding held in the Taşkıran neighborhood of the Çaykara district caused three people to be injured.
F.H. (43), who was critically injured after being struck by stray bullets, lost their life at the Kaşüstü State Hospital where they were taken, while B.S.T. (16) and Z.S. (31) were taken under treatment at the Of State Hospital.
Y.E.B. (27), who was learned to be a Special Operations police officer, and his father M.B. (47) were apprehended and detained by gendarmerie teams following the incident.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
