Halkalı-Edirne train halted. Hundreds of passengers left stranded
The train numbered 12721, operating the Halkalı-Edirne route, stopped at the Çerkezköy station due to the inability to complete construction work on the Çerkezköy-Halkalı section of the High-Speed Train Line currently under construction between Halkalı and Kapıkule. Buses were brought to the station to transport the 300 passengers to their destinations.

The train numbered 12721, which departed from Istanbul's Halkalı Train Station bound for Edirne, came to a halt upon arriving at the Çerkezköy Train Station in the Çerkezköy district of Tekirdağ.
Approximately 300 passengers on the train, which could not proceed due to disruptions in the ongoing Kapıkule-Halkalı/Halkalı-Kapıkule High-Speed Train Line construction, were transported to cities along the train route by buses brought to the front of the station.
Citizens, expressing their reactions to the problems that have persisted for 2 days, stated that the issues should be resolved as soon as possible and that the line should be completed.
