He accidentally killed his grandson
In Adıyaman, a man accidentally shot and killed his 14-year-old grandson while trying to shoot at a wild boar.

According to the information obtained, a person identified as Y.B., who was in a cornfield near the Devil's Bridge (Şeytan Köprüsü) location close to the old Kahta Castle in the Kahta district of Adıyaman, accidentally shot his 14-year-old grandson, Ç.A.B., who was with him, while firing his rifle at wild boars that appeared in front of them.
The child, who was seriously injured, was taken to Kahta State Hospital after receiving initial intervention from medical teams that arrived at the scene.
Despite all interventions, Ç.A.B. could not be saved while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The child's body was taken to the hospital morgue.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
