He complained about his elders to CİMER and got married: 'I want this girl but I can't have her, please help me'
In Gaziantep, a couple who could not get married because their elders did not give permission got married some time ago after the groom applied to the Presidential Communication Center (CİMER) and officials intervened.

24-year-old İbrahim Doğan, who works as a laborer at a healthcare institution in Gaziantep, wrote to CİMER after both his own family and the family of 23-year-old Esra Bağmacı, whom he wanted to marry, did not approve of their marriage.
The Gaziantep Provincial Mufti's Office, which stepped in with the guidance of CİMER, reached out to the families of Doğan and Bağmacı and persuaded both sides.
"I WANT THIS GIRL BUT I CAN'T HAVE HER, PLEASE HELP ME"
Doğan stated that they had struggled quite a bit to get married and that they asked for help from state officials because they could not overcome the opposition of their elders.
Stating that he logged into the e-Devlet system while at work and filed a complaint with CİMER, Doğan explained the following:
"I wrote, 'Mr. President, I want this girl but I cannot have her, please help me.' A week later, everyone started calling me; they wanted me to come to the Mufti's office and the Governor's office. I wondered if I had written something wrong. Later, Deputy Provincial Mufti Ramazan Yıldırım said, 'Let us ask for the girl for you.' They called my family and said, 'If you don't ask, we will go and ask.' When they said that, my family gained courage. Later, Fatma Şahin got involved in the matter and said, 'You take the girl, I will complete the missing items in your home.' May God be pleased with her, and that is what happened. 1.5 months later, my father-in-law was also convinced and said, 'Let this happen now.' One way or another, we have been married for a year now. We are doing very well right now, thank God we have no problems. May God be pleased with our state officials, this is what we wanted, and it happened."
