According to the information obtained, Murat F. (48), who resides on 6423 Street in the Yunus Emre neighborhood of Denizli's Pamukkale district, divided his basement apartment into 3 rooms and began renting them out on a daily basis. M.A., who rented the apartment, noticed a small light reflection on a wall-mounted power strip while lying on the bed. Suspicious of the situation, M.A. removed the power strip and was astonished by what he found.
Seeing that there was a spy camera setup with a memory card inserted inside the power strip, M.A. reported the situation to the police and filed a complaint. Launching an investigation into the incident, police teams determined that hidden camera setups had been placed inside power strips mounted to view the beds and bathrooms in the three apartment units.
The operator, Murat F., who was determined to have converted his apartment into rental units and rented them out on a daily or hourly basis, was taken into custody. It was determined that the memory cards inside the spy cameras, which were removed for detailed examination, contained intimate footage of numerous people. Murat F., who secretly recorded his customers, was arrested by the judicial authorities to whom he was referred and sent to prison.
