He killed his mother with a shotgun after she tried to stop him from going hunting
In the Köyceğiz district of Muğla, an argument broke out between a young man who wanted to go hunting and his mother. The young man shot and killed his mother in the head with a shotgun.

According to the information obtained, S. Sivrikaya (22) wanted to take his shotgun and go hunting yesterday evening. When his mother, Durgül Sivrikaya (61), did not want her son to go hunting, an argument broke out between the two.
During the argument, S. Sivrikaya shot and wounded his mother with the shotgun in his hand. Upon the notification of citizens who heard the gunshot, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The medical teams that arrived quickly at the scene determined that Durgül Sivrikaya had lost her life at the scene. The gendarmerie teams apprehended S. Sivrikaya along with the weapon used in the crime and took him into custody.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
