The incident occurred around 17:30 in the Battalgazi neighborhood. According to the information obtained, an individual named M.İ. had been messaging with Sezgin Ç.'s wife on a social media platform for some time.
Sezgin Ç., who noticed the situation, met with M.İ. at the address where Sezgin Ç. resided, and they began to argue.
The argument quickly escalated into an armed fight. M.İ. shot Sezgin Ç. with his weapon. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that Sezgin Ç. had lost his life.
During the investigation conducted by crime scene investigation teams, 4 empty shell casings were recovered at the scene, while M.İ., who shot Sezgin Ç., was caught and taken into custody by police teams shortly after the incident.
During questioning, it was learned that the individual had been messaging with Sezgin Ç.'s wife on a social media platform, that they met at the scene to argue because of this, and that he subsequently opened fire on Sezgin Ç.
