He stabbed his ex-wife and stepdaughter
In Bartın, a man stabbed his ex-wife and stepdaughter following an argument over jealousy.

In the incident that took place in the Orduyeri neighborhood, E.A. began arguing with his ex-wife, Fati Asan (46), due to jealousy. When his 27-year-old stepdaughter, Ebru Emeksizoğlu, who was also in the house, intervened in the argument, E.A. stabbed both women multiple times.
Leaving the house with blood on his hands, E.A. threw the knife used in the crime into the middle of the street and walked for a while longer. He then called 112, reported that he had stabbed two people, and provided the location of the incident and his own whereabouts.
Police teams arriving at the scene found both women covered in blood. In the incident, where medical teams were also dispatched, the two seriously injured women were taken to Bartın State Hospital and placed under treatment. While E.A. surrendered to the police teams that approached him, he was first taken to the hospital for a medical report and then to the Police Department building for questioning and processing.
While the police took extensive security measures around the hospital, Bartın Provincial Police Chief Ünsal Hayal arrived at the hospital to receive detailed information about the incident.
It was learned that the two seriously injured women are fighting for their lives, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
