In the Altındağ district of Ankara, a man stabbed his wife to death following an argument.

The incident occurred in a building in Altındağ. According to the information obtained, Y.Ö. (28) and his wife of 3 years, Sevgi,with whom he had been experiencing severemaritaldiscord and had 2 childrentogether, were involved in a dispute. An argument broke out betweenÖzdemir (19) and herhusband.
As the argumentescalated, the man stabbedhis wife and fled the house.Following reports from neighbors, police and medical teams weredispatched to the scene. It was determined that SevgiÖzdemir had lost her life at home, while Y.Ö. was takeninto custody.
The individual was referred to the courthouse following police processingwas arrested by the duty magistrate on charges ofintentional murder of a woman.
