The incident occurred on Güneş Street in the Kabaoğlu neighborhood of the İzmit district. According to the information obtained, a dispute broke out between F.Ö. and E.Ç., who were previously acquainted, at a gas station.
As the argument escalated, E.Ç. stabbed F.Ö. and fled to his house. F.Ö., while still injured, arrived at E.Ç.'s house by vehicle and opened fire. As a result of the gunfire, E.Ç., A.Ç., Y.E., and B.G. were wounded.
F.Ö., who fled the scene, headed to the hospital while also notifying the 112 Emergency Call Center for the other wounded individuals.
Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams that arrived at the scene in a short time transported the 4 wounded to the hospital after initial intervention. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
