The heavy rainfall and storm that hit Ankara have negatively affected daily life. Due to the storm and downpour that started suddenly in the evening, flooding occurred on some streets and avenues, and some roads turned into lakes. While drivers faced difficult moments in traffic, some homes, warehouses, and workplaces in the Sincan district were flooded.

Hasan Olkun, a July 15 veteran whose home was flooded, said, "Damage assessment is still ongoing, but there is no clear result yet. No solution has been produced yet. I have repaired my home for the second or third time out of my own pocket. We are constantly experiencing the same problem. We want a solution to be found for this situation now. Whether it is the municipality, ASKİ, or the fire department, whoever is responsible should do what is necessary. Our losses are significant."

"We have experienced these events many times. We are requesting help from the authorities. I am a July 15 veteran and also a civil servant. But instead of building a life for ourselves with all our salary and savings, we are constantly forced to repair our home. Experiencing the same problems with every rain has become unbearable. All the neighborhood residents are in the same situation. We experience this trouble every year. Our elevator exploded. Currently, the elevator is completely unusable. The fire department came and conducted an inspection. They said the elevator hit the ceiling. This situation repeats every year. Our neighborhood's infrastructure cannot handle these floods. The infrastructure is inadequate. We want this problem to be solved as soon as possible. As a neighborhood, we are requesting help. Please, someone address this problem now," he said.
