Heavy rainfall in the Karamürsel district of Kocaeli has negatively impacted daily life. As the downpour caused flooding in some homes and businesses, residents faced difficult moments. Fire department crews worked to drain the accumulated water from the properties.

The heavy rainfall in the Karamürsel district led to flooding in some homes and businesses on Zübeyde Hanım Street.
Water accumulated particularly in ground-floor businesses and basement-level apartments.
Residents reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon notification, fire and police teams were dispatched to the area.
Fire crews arriving at the scene began efforts to drain the water accumulated in the homes and businesses with the help of evacuation pumps.
Police teams took security measures in the area to ensure the safety of citizens and directed vehicle traffic in a controlled manner.
