Homes evacuated in area affected by forest fire in Hatay
Homes in the area affected by a forest fire, which has grown due to the wind in the Hassa district of Hatay, are being evacuated.

A fire broke out in a forested area in the Yukarıbucak neighborhood of Hassa district. Upon notification, Regional Directorate of Forestry and fire department teams were dispatched to the region. While teams were intervening in the fire, the flames spread in a short time due to the effect of the wind.
Homes in the Yukarıbucak neighborhood, located in the area affected by the fire, have been evacuated.
Neighborhood residents were evacuated from the area using their own vehicles and vehicles provided by the teams.
Neighborhood residents stated that they had to leave their homes, saying that the fire was growing rapidly. Efforts to intervene in the fire are ongoing.
