Horrific accident on the highway: A desperate struggle for life after the collision

The accident occurred in the Damlama area of Adana's Pozantı district. In the accident, which took place around 16:30, a light commercial vehicle with license plate 27 BTB 95 rear-ended a semi-truck traveling in the same direction for reasons yet unknown.
A DESPERATE STRUGGLE FOR LIFE AFTER THE COLLISION
While the light commercial vehicle was reduced to a wreck due to the impact, numerous health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon reports from surrounding drivers. The teams that reached the area determined that the 5 people inside the vehicle had lost their lives.
IDENTITIES OF THE DECEASED HAVE NOT YET BEEN ANNOUNCED
While it was stated that efforts to identify the deceased are ongoing, the bodies were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy procedures. The bodies, which were trapped in the vehicle, were removed as a result of the work of the fire department teams.
TRAFFIC DISRUPTIONS OCCURRED
Due to the accident, there was a short-term traffic congestion in the Adana direction of the highway. The road was reopened to traffic after the teams completed their work at the scene of the accident.
