Hotel in Alanya sealed for the 72nd time: 'Zero tolerance for lawlessness'
In the Payallar neighborhood of Antalya's Alanya district, two managers of a hotel that continued to operate illegally despite being sealed many times before were detained and brought before a judge. While the business owners were released under judicial control and issued a 30-day restraining order from the premises, the hotel was sealed for the 72nd time.

Action was taken once again after a hotel business in the Payallar neighborhood, which has been operating without a license since January 9, 2020, and had been sealed 71 times previously by the Alanya Municipality, continued its operations.
Hotel operators A.Ş.K. and R.A. were referred to the courthouse by gendarmerie teams following health checks at the Alanya Training and Research Hospital, as ordered by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
The two operators of the hotel, who appeared before a judge and continued to provide services illegally despite being sealed many times before, were released under judicial control, and a 30-day restraining order from the business was issued against them. Alanya Municipality police teams, in coordination with security forces, sealed the hotel for the 72nd time.

Stating that they are working intensively to combat illegal activities throughout Alanya, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik said, “A hotel business in the Payallar neighborhood, which had been sealed many times before, has been sealed for the 72nd time. The business owners, who broke the seal, also appeared in court and were held accountable before the judiciary.
Since we took office with the appreciation of our people, we have continued our fight against illegal activities. In line with the findings we have made across the city and the complaints received, we do not allow both illegal and unlicensed structures. We will never compromise on lawlessness,” he said.
