Footage showing the killing of a turtle, believed to have been filmed approximately 15 years ago in Zonguldak, has resurfaced on social media. Following the backlash caused by the footage, police teams launched an investigation.
Upon determining that the footage was filmed in Karadeniz Ereğli, teams from the District Police Department conducted an investigation. During the examination by public security teams, it was determined that the person seen in the footage was A.S.
After the suspect's address was identified, an operation was carried out at his residence in Ereğli. A.S. was taken into custody by police teams.
It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
