Knife attack at hospital caught on camera
The moments when a doctor and a security guard on duty at an emergency room in Şanlıurfa were subjected to a knife attack were captured on security cameras.

The incident occurred in the evening hours at the Şanlıurfa Balıklıgöl State Hospital. An individual named İbrahim Halil K., who entered the hospital with a knife in his hand, stabbed a security guard on duty in the emergency room in the throat for an as-yet-unknown reason. The attacker then also stabbed Emergency Room Doctor İsmail A. in the throat.

The attacker's relaxed demeanor in the footage captured by the security camera was chilling. The individual, who stabbed the security guard in the neck, continued down the hallway as if nothing had happened. The security guard, who managed to escape from the suspect's grasp, saved his life by entering the intervention room in the emergency department. The footage shows the moments when the suspect, while fleeing, stabbed the emergency room doctor, İsmail A., in the throat in the hallway. The attacker, who was taken into custody, was taken to the police station following a medical check-up.
