Knife attack on patrolling police: 6 injured, including 4 officers

C.İ. (35), who was allegedly under the influence of narcotics, attacked patrolling police officers with a knife. While the assailant was taken into custody, 6 people, including 4 police officers, were injured in the ensuing scuffle. The 6 injured individuals were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
VERBAL ABUSE AND KNIFE ATTACK
In the incident that took place on Şeftali Street in the Sultan Murat neighborhood, it was alleged that C.İ., who was reportedly under the influence of narcotics, verbally abused police officers patrolling in a vehicle. The suspect then got out of the vehicle and attacked the officers who attempted to intervene.

A scuffle broke out as bystanders also became involved in the incident. A total of 6 people were injured in the altercation, including 4 police officers and 2 civilians.
The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance following initial medical intervention at the scene. The assailant, who has been taken into custody, remains in police processing.
"ONE OFFICER IS IN SERIOUS CONDITION"
A local resident stated, "Two police officers and two civilians were injured. It was a homeless youth. He had an altercation with the police. When they approached him, he took them all down. As far as I know, one officer is in serious condition, and another was wounded in the leg."
