Lawmaker's brother found dead in his vehicle
In the Islahiye district of Gaziantep, the brother of Democracy and Progress Party (DEVA Party) Gaziantep MP Ertuğrul Kaya was found dead in his vehicle.

According to the information obtained, citizens in the Burhaniye neighborhood of Islahiye district noticed someone covered in blood in a vehicle following an alleged gunshot sound in the evening hours and reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the report, police, medical, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. The lifeless body of Mehmet Ali Kaya (42) was found in the locked vehicle opened by the fire department teams. The body was taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute following examinations.
LEARNED TO BE THE LAWMAKER'S BROTHER
It was learned that Mehmet Ali Kaya, a father of 4, who is suspected to have died by suicide, was the brother of DEVA Party Deputy Chairman and Gaziantep MP Ertuğrul Kaya. A building attendant who witnessed the incident stated that they found Kaya motionless in his running vehicle.
A detailed investigation into the incident has been initiated.
