In the Bodrum district of Muğla, a foreign national woman who gave birth in staff housing wrapped her baby in a towel and left it on the terrace.

According to the information obtained, 19-year-old Z.U.K., who came to Bodrum from abroad to work about 5 months ago, went to the hospital complaining of severe blood loss.
Realizing that the woman had given birth, health officials notified the police. The teams, who took the woman's statement, then went to the staff housing.
Searching the staff housing where the woman was staying, the teams encountered the baby wrapped in a towel on the terrace. Checks performed by medical teams determined that the baby had lost its life.
It was determined that the young woman had given birth by her own means and went to the hospital when her bleeding did not stop. It was reported that the woman, who was taken back to the hospital after her statement, would be taken into custody again after treatment.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
