Lightning illuminates the night in Istanbul
In Istanbul, where the General Directorate of Meteorology issued a warning for thunderstorms, lightning illuminated the darkness of the night. In Taksim, where strong winds were felt, citizens had difficulty walking.

The thunderstorms expected to begin during the night in Istanbul are set to continue until the early hours of the morning. Before the expected rainfall, numerous lightning strikes were observed, particularly in coastal areas.
The lightning that lit up the night was captured on camera. It is estimated that the rain and strong winds, which will begin during the night, will end around 10:00 AM and give way to sunshine.
On the other hand, it was observed that citizens had difficulty walking at times in Taksim Square due to the strong winds.
