Little Gökçe's last words were 'Mom, something bit me'
In the Düziçi district of Osmaniye, a 5-year-old child who told her mother that something had bitten her while she was playing in the garden of her home has passed away at the hospital to which she was taken.

Gökçe Erva Kınay (5), who was playing on the balcony of her home in the Böcekli town of Düziçi district, told her mother that something had bitten her foot.
The young child was taken by her family to the local health center, and the 5-year-old was then taken to Düziçi State Hospital.
After her treatment began there, the child was discharged following clean test results.
When the child fell ill again during the night, she was taken by her family to Düziçi State Hospital; following initial intervention there, the little girl was transferred to Osmaniye State Hospital.
CAUSE OF DEATH TO BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY RESULT
Despite all interventions at Osmaniye State Hospital, Gökçe Erva Kınay could not be saved and passed away. The cause of the child's death will be determined following the autopsy result.
The little child's funeral was held at the family cemetery located in the Demirciler neighborhood of the town of Böcekli.
