Man accused of beating his wife beaten nearly to death

In Kocaeli, a woman who claimed she was repeatedly beaten by her husband, who she is in the process of divorcing, told the neighborhood youth about the situation. Four young men took the man who beat his wife to a secluded spot, severely assaulted him, and recorded the moment on a mobile phone.

According to allegations, R.A., who lives in the Derince district, filed for divorce due to the violence she suffered from her husband, B.B.K.

Unable to finalize the divorce and continuing to suffer violence from her husband, the woman told the neighborhood youth about the situation and asked for help.

Four young men identified as F.Ç., O.A., B.A., and E.Y., upon learning of the incident, took B.B.K., who had been beating his wife, under the Şirintepe Viaduct in İzmit on June 3 and severely assaulted him.

Furthermore, the young men recorded those moments with a mobile phone camera. Acting upon the assault video, teams from the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department detained the 4 suspects. The 4 suspects were referred to the courthouse after their statements were taken.

It was learned that B.B.K. has broken ribs and his condition remains serious.
