Man kills ex-fiancée and commits suicide
In Nevşehir, a man shot and killed his ex-fiancée with a rifle following an argument, then took his own life.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred at a residence in the Eras complex on Yasemin Street in the central Cevher Dudayev neighborhood, where an argument reportedly broke out between Mustafa Baltaş (26) and his ex-fiancée, Beyza Akdoğan (21).
As the argument escalated, Mustafa Baltaş opened fire on Beyza Akdoğan with a rifle before turning the weapon on himself.
Upon notification by Beyza Akdoğan’s relatives who were present at the residence, medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Initial assessments by the medical teams confirmed that both Mustafa Baltaş and Beyza Akdoğan had lost their lives.
Following the incident, the young woman's relatives suffered nervous breakdowns.
The bodies were transported to the morgue following an examination, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
