Man kills his father following an argument in Denizli
In the Çal district of Denizli, a man killed his father, with whom he had been arguing, by striking him in the head with a stone.

An argument broke out between Efrahim G. (39), who resides in the Aşağıseyit neighborhood, and his father, Halil G. (62).
As the argument escalated, Efrahim G., who is alleged to have psychological issues, beat his father with a stick and struck him in the head with a stone.
Following the incident, the suspect went to Çal State Hospital and told doctors that he had killed his father.
Upon notification, gendarmerie teams dispatched to the address found the lifeless body of Halil G. in the house. Halil G.'s body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
The suspect, who was taken into custody, claimed in his statement that his father did not pay for his medical treatment despite having a good financial situation.
It was learned that the family is involved in livestock farming and that the mother and another child were not at home during the incident.
The suspect's processing at the gendarmerie station is ongoing.
