Meteorology issues heavy rain warning for three provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning regarding locally effective thunderstorms in the provinces of Ankara, Kastamonu, and Çankırı. According to the statement, heavy rainfall is expected in Kastamonu and Çankırı between 18:00 and 19:00, and in Ankara between 16:20 and 18:30.

Meteorology has warned citizens in these regions to be cautious against adverse weather conditions such as flash floods, water inundation, lightning, hail, and strong winds.

CALL FOR CAUTION FROM THE ANKARA GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

The Ankara Governor's Office also issued a statement on social media, urging citizens to be prepared for sudden weather changes and to take necessary precautions. The Governor's Office emphasized the need to be careful against events such as storms and hail that may occur during the rainfall.
