Methane gas explosion in Ankara: Casualties reported
One person lost their life and three others were injured in a methane gas explosion that occurred while a group was searching for treasure in a mountainous area in Ankara.

According to the information received, the incident took place in the Yüzbey neighborhood of the Kalecik district. A methane gas explosion occurred while 4 people were searching for treasure in a mountainous area.
Upon notification by those in the vicinity, police and 112 Emergency Service teams were dispatched to the scene. While an individual identified as B.S. lost their life in the explosion, T.T., N.Ö., and C.Ö. were injured.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
