Following warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy rainfall became effective in the city center. With the falling hail, vehicle drivers faced difficulties, and traffic came to a virtual standstill.

Due to leaves that were not cleared despite warnings, the manhole covers on the city's main roads became clogged.
