A joint operation was conducted by the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Provincial Security Directorate's Counter-Terrorism Branch in the Aşkale district of Erzurum.
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Erzurum Provincial Security Directorate's Counter-Terrorism Branch captured a Russian national involved in the activities of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization in Russia during a joint operation in the Aşkale district of Erzurum.
ARRESTED BY THE COURT
According to the statement made by the Provincial Security Directorate, the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Provincial Security Directorate's Counter-Terrorism Branch launched an effort to uncover and prevent the actions and activities of terrorist organizations throughout the city.
In the operation, N.O.P., a Russian national identified as having operated within the PKK/KCK terrorist organization's structures in Russia, was captured in the house where he was hiding in the Aşkale district.
Following the procedures at the police station, the Russian national N.O.P. was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court.
