The Ro-Ro ship named NADEZHDA, which was hit by a drone attack in the Black Sea, has been brought to Samsun. The ship, which was located off the coast of Russia's Novorossiysk Port, set sail last night after the empty trailers on board were transferred to another vessel.

The ship reached the waters off Samsun and was docked at Samsun Port with the assistance of tugboats under the supervision of teams from the Provincial Police Department's Sea Port Branch.

It was observed that the deck of the ship, which anchored at the port, sustained significant damage. It had been stated that the ship was attacked while it was approximately 20 nautical miles off the coast of Novorossiysk Port.

In a statement on August 3, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's General Directorate of Maritime Affairs announced that there were a total of 22 crew members on board, 13 of whom were Turkish citizens. The statement announced that the seafarers had been safely evacuated to Novorossiysk Port by Russian maritime assets.
